Palace of Justice (A2)

The Palace of Justice is known for its stately Edwardian architecture and deep historical significance. Located on historic Church Square, it was designed by Dutch architect Sytze Wierda in the late 1800s and is famously remembered as the site of the Rivonia Trial, where Nelson Mandela and others were tried in the 1960s. The building features sandstone columns, decorative ironwork, and a formal symmetrical façade.
